Oscar Nagar
In 1997, he moved to the city of London, where he continued his acting training at the official school of Kensington and Chelsea College. In his second year he joined the physical theater company Ecstatic Sickness under the direction of Mike Miller, a former permanent member of the repertoire of the popular and prestigious English theater actor, director and playwright Steven Berkoff, where he works in three physical theater shows. Taken to the festival of Edinburgh, Scotland, in the years 2002–2003.
During the years 2005–2012 he lives in Madrid doing all kinds of work in theater, film and television, highlighting productions such as Julio César, at the Teatro Español under the direction of the British director Deborah Warner, Tío Vania, El Vigilante, Amar en tiempos revueltos, Hermanos y detectives, Museo Coconut, Primos, by Borja Manso, NoDo, by Elio Quiroga, among others. In 2013 moved to the Czech Republic and there he continued his journey as an actor in The Blood, Love & Rhetoric Theater Company, working in productions such as Disquiet, by Fernando Pessoa, A Doll’s House, by Henrik Ibsen, The Resistible Rise of Arturo Ui, by Bertolt Brecht, The Swan Song, by Anton Chekhov, among others and collaborating in television productions such as Crossing Lines and Whiskey Cavalier.
In 2018, he created El Alegre Vagabundo with the play, Beauty, as a manifesto and denunciation of child abuse. He currently resides between Prague and Madrid.
“The Missing Link” is his latest original theatrical work which will be presented in June at the theater festival organized by the HAMU Faculty of Arts in Prague.
